Our school values strong partnerships with our families and community. Parents and carers can get involved through our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) or by volunteering at our school. Your time and support help make our school a better place for everyone.

WE EXTEND A WARM WELCOME TO YOU FROM OUR P&C!

Welcome to the Public School P&C web page! At Menai Public School, the P&C plays an important role in supporting the school's teaching and learning activities.

Working with the school Principal and teachers, the P&C assists with resourcing a wide range of activities for our children to enhance and extend their experience at the school. Whether in class, on the field or on stage, there is a very strong "whole of community" approach to the wellbeing of our students.

These activities require the ongoing generosity of the community, both in time and funds. As such, the P&C undertakes a range of fundraising family events throughout the year. These fundraisers contribute to the school's budget and ensure all students can enjoy an engaging and fulfilling time at the school, no matter what their interests.

The meetings offer parents and citizens an opportunity to get involved, or just catch up on what is happening at Menai Public School. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the life of our little school.

To become a member of the Menai P&C a $1.00 joining fee gives you voting rights and helps support our initiatives. Meetings are open to all parents and carers, come along, stay informed and have your say. Election of the P&C Executive Committee is held at the Annual General Meeting each year.

P&C meetings

The Parents and Citizens Association meets twice a term at 7.00pm on a Monday night. These meetings provide a forum for parents and carers to discuss educational issues and plan activities for parent/carer participation and fundraising. The Annual General Meeting is held in Term 1.
